Hamas Rejects Israel’s Claim about Missile Fire

Palestinian resistance movement Hamas dismissed the Zionist Regime’s allegations that its military wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, has targeted the Asqalan city in Southern Israel.

Israel claimed today that Hamas has fired a missile from the Gaza Strip into the Southern Asqalan city.

Hamas Spokesman Eyhab Al-Ghussein dismissed the Israeli claim as a lie, saying that such allegations aim to distract the attention of international public opinion from Palestinian nation’s anger caused by crimes of the occupiers against the Palestinians imprisoned in Israeli jails.

The Israeli police announced today that a missile attack has caused some damages on a road near the city of Asqalan, but no one has been hurt.

Meantime, some Palestinian websites reported that Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, affiliated to the Palestinian Fatah Movement, has claimed responsibility for today’s Grad missile attack.

The missile attack is speculated to be a reprisal for the death of a Palestinian prisoner, namely Arafat Jaradat, under torture in an Israeli jail. Jaradat’s death was announced by the Israeli regime on Saturday.
