Hamas: Salfit attack natural response to Israeli crimes

The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, on Sunday praised the anti-occupation shooting attack earlier in the day in the West Bank city of Salfit where two Israeli settlers were killed and a third injured.

Hamas said in a statement that the attack was a natural response to the Israeli occupation’s daily crimes against the Palestinian people.

Hamas stressed that the Palestinians will not remain silence vis-à-vis the Israeli settlers’ daily break-ins into al-Aqsa Mosque, Israel’s attempts to demolish entire Palestinian villages, like Khan al-Ahmar, the daily arrest campaigns in the West Bank, the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip for over a decade now, and the Israeli army’s killing of peaceful protesters near Gaza border.

The resistance movement affirmed that resistance is the Palestinians’ only choice, and they will make the Israeli occupation pay a “heavy price” for its crimes.
