Hamas: The peoples’ right to freedom is fundamental

The Hamas Movement has affirmed its support for the right of all peoples to freedom and self-determination as “an inalienable fundamental right.” Hamas spokesman Husam Badran stated on Wednesday that his Movement’s external relations with countries, political parties and individuals are based on their support for the Palestinian cause in general and the Palestinian people’s right to resist the occupation.

Badran stressed that “Hamas’s external relations with others are unambiguous and its compass constantly points toward Jerusalem.”

“The Movement’s position on what is happening in Syria and other Arab countries is unwavering and based on the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of states,” he underlined.
