Hamas to hold mass festivals to celebrate 29th anniversary

Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said Hamas will celebrate the 29th anniversary of the group’s founding with a chain of events and festivals in Gaza.

Barhoum said thousands of Palestinians are expected to attend Hamas mass festivals which are to be held across all of Gaza’s provinces, denying claims that the group has decided to cancel the ceremony.

The celebration will culminate in a mass festival in Gaza City, where a senior Hamas leader is set to deliver a speech to the Palestinian masses.
