Hamdan: Resistance anticipates Zionist aggression

Osama Hamdan, a political bureau member of Hamas, has said that resistance forces were anticipating a Zionist attack after the expected failure of direct talks with the Ramallah authority.

Hamdan told Lebanese daily ‘Assafir’ in an interview published on Tuesday that the resistance was seriously preparing for all possibilities.

“All know quite well that there is no serious horizon for the negotiations,” he said, adding that the Palestinians were against any concession offered during those talks especially pertaining to the right of return.

If the PLO insists on returning to negotiations even after the failure it would deepen the internal Palestinian crisis, he warned, adding that the PLO should adopt a daring position and return to resistance as the strategic option to restore rights.
