Haneyya gov’t files complaint against Israel at UNGA

The Palestinian government of Ismail Haneyya has filed a complaint with the UN General Assembly against Israel for its “crimes” against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

Taher Al-Nunu, the government’s spokesman, called on the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in a press release on Monday to act to halt the aggression and the targeting of Palestinian civilians.

He said that his government sent messages to the Arab League, the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on the Israeli crimes and murder of civilians and asked them to intervene to halt the aggression.

Six Palestinians were killed and dozens were wounded, including women and children, in the Israeli attacks on Gaza since Saturday. Some of the wounded are in critical condition.
