Haneyya: Jerusalem Intifada must continue

Deputy Head of Hamas political bureau Ismail Haneyya Friday called on Palestinians throughout Palestine to continue the Intifada (uprising) and resistance against the Israeli occupation.

In a televised speech at the international Conference on Jerusalem held in Istanbul, Haneyya called on the Arab and Islamic nation to support the ongoing Palestinian Intifada by all possible means and to foil any suspicious attempt to stop it.

The international Conference on Jerusalem proves that the Palestinian issue was and will always remain the central cause for the nation, he said.

He called on the participants to take practical steps to support Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque.

“Despite our pains and sacrifices, we will be victorious. The Israeli occupation has no future on the land of Palestine,” Haneyya .
