Heavy Infighting Inflicts Several Casualties on FSA-Affiliated Terrorist Groups in Southern Syria

A number of gunmen have been killed and wounded in a fresh round of clashes between terrorists groups affiliated to the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in Northern Dara’a, dissident-affiliated websites disclosed on Wednesday.

The websites reported that al-Waliyah Mojahedi Houran gunmen and Ahfad Omar Brigade, two FSA-affiliated groups, engaged in fierce clashes in the town of Ankhal in Northern Dara’a, leaving at least three gunmen dead and several more wounded.

The sources said that curfew has been declared in Ankhal following the clashes, adding that the infighting erupted after one of the members of al-Waliyah Mojahedi Houran was executed by one of the commanders of Ahfad Omar Brigade.

Local sources reported on Tuesday that Abu Hamzah Qadiyah, a notorious Jordanian field commander of Tahrir al-Sham, was killed after a bomb-laden vehicle went off in front of the terrorist group’s checkpoint in Eastern Dara’a.

The sources said that a bomb car went off in front of al-Roba’ei checkpoint in Eastern Dara’a, killing 10 terrorists and wounding 20 more.

The members of Tahrir al-Sham and the Free Syrian Army were deployed in al-Roba’ei checkpoint, the sources said, adding that Abu Hamza Qadiyah, a Jordanian field commander of Tahrir al-Sham in Southern Syria together with four of his bodyguards were among the killed terrorists.
