After the meeting, Al-Khalil told the reporters that the discussions were positive, adding that more meetings will be held between the two sides.

For his part, Jumblatt indicated that, despite difference, the two parties can agree on a number of political and economic issues which concern all the Lebanese people.

Al-Manar sources mentioned that the meeting discussed the maritime border demarcation and the upcoming presidential elections, adding that the specifications of the new president will be tackled during the upcoming meetings.
