High ranking FSA commanders targeted by roadside bomb in Daraa

A vehicle transporting two high ranking members of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) was struck by a roadside bomb in rural Dara’a, today, killing a field commander and wounding the president of the FSA’s Court of Justice.

According to opposition activists, the president of the FSA’s Court of Justice, Ismat Al-Absi, was seriously wounded on Monday when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device that was placed along the road he was traveling along in the Dara’a Governorate.

While Al-Absi is receiving medical care, his counterpart, Abu Hafs, reportedly succumbed to his wounds from the bombing that took place along the Saida-Tayba Road.
