Highlighting the most prominent Zionist terrorist movements and organizations Part I

Since the beginning of the twenties of the last century, the Zionists tried to devote allegations that Palestine was “a land without a people for a people without a land” to cover up the fact that the Jews did not exceed the percentage (11%) of the population of Palestine in 1917, and this percentage has started to grow, thanks to their illegal migration towards the (Promised Land) until it reached (30%) in 1947; three quarters of them were born outside Palestine and do not hold the Palestinian citizenship.
Then this minority continued to follow this racist – terrorist approach, which has been adopted by the emerging racist terrorist movements in the early twenties, by expelling the country’s population from their homeland, and they are the majority, and by forcing them to migrate to regions around the earth, and then pursuing them by death and destruction.

The Zionist occupation forces actually expelled about 850 thousand Palestinians – at that time – from their homeland, and they were residents of about (526) towns and villages, and have replaced them with the Jewish rapists who have left their countries of origin voluntarily and desirably being influenced by the Zionist movement.

Hence, in our attempt to define the term “terrorism” in the narrow sense of the word, we can say it is: “acting violently as committing murder, throwing explosives, or causing destruction to achieve a certain purpose such as spreading terror in the heart of the residents of a certain area to force them to leave or to dominate them and to recruit and force them to accept a reality that is based on injustice (from the perspective of the victim). The concept of terrorism can extend to include various economic, political, military, material and moral practices”.

In the case of defining the term “Zionist terrorism”, we add to the above that it “includes land theft through forgery, fraud, and law in order to expel the owners of the land by the force of arms to make human heterogeneous groups become substitute for the people who have been expelled”.

If the Zionist perception of the reality and history represented in the most famous falsified Zionist saying in the modern history, namely, (a land without a people for a people without a land), is a violent perception, then the Zionist terrorism is the “practices that transform the theory and perception into a reality and create new realities”, according to “Moshe Dayan”, one of the most prominent leaders of the Zionist terrorism.

The Zionist terrorism, according to the late Egyptian thinker and historian Dr. Abdul Wahab Al-Meseiri, in his encyclopedia “Jews, Judaism and Zionism”, is not a transient accidental event but is inherent in the Zionist settlement-oriented occupational project and in the overall basic Zionist formula”.

The “circles and mechanisms of this terrorism are interrelated and successive, for the terrorist attacks mounted against some Arab villages led to the surrender of the rest of the population of the occupied territories, and this means that the massacres, arrests, and expulsions are but one of the mechanism of the Zionist occupational settlement, and we cannot imagine the possibility of achieving the Zionist project without them”.

The Zionist terrorism as well – according to Dr. Meseiri “Is a mechanism based upon which part of Palestine was emptied of its population, imposing the Zionist settlers and the Zionist state on the Palestinian people and on their land.

This has been done through the direct, unregulated, and non-institutional terrorism carried out by the terrorist informal organizations (massacres, settler militias, vandalism, and racial discrimination).

This has been also done through the direct, systematic, and institutional terrorism, practiced by the Zionist state (displacement, the legal structure of the Zionist state, racial separation by law, the army of occupation, the Israeli police, and the demolition of villages)”.

Dr. Al-Meseiri added: “Although we do differentiate between the institutional and non-institutional terrorism, yet they are fully linked to each other and coordinated and the ultimate goal combines them i.e. to empty Palestine of its population or to subjugate and besiege them. Perhaps the event of “Deir Yassin” (before 1948) and the death squads known as the “Mista’arvim” are other clear examples on this cooperation and coordination.

The Zionist terrorism is fully linked to the Western imperialist support, where the British government protected the settlers, secured a foothold, and allowed the establishment of the military infrastructure, consisting of cooperative settlements (in particular, the kibbutz) in what we call the “Armed agriculture”, and it helped various armed Zionist organizations and supported them. It was also like an armed force that was lurking to attack the land of Palestine and its people in 1948.

After the establishment of the state, the Western “democratic” countries continued to support Zionist settlement-oriented occupational entity, despite its terrorist practices that are both serious and continuous, despite the many wars waged against the Arabs, and despite its expansion that has no boundaries”.

The roots of the Zionist terrorism…

Since holding the first Zionist Conference in the “Pal” city, Swiss in 1897, the Jewish Theodor Herzl, the founder of the Zionist movement (1860 – 1904) formulated the slogans of the movement: (We are a people), and (Palestine is our historical unforgettable homeland). He also developed a plan to achieve the Zionist project, and the conference turned it into a political program, and he led the Zionist movement with the Western colonial powers, particularly Britain, to implement this program.

The Zionist movement was keen after holding its first conference to perform three tasks, which are: “Colonizing Palestine, trying to create one homogeneous Jewish people, and establishing a movement that could be like a spearhead in the colonial Zionist program”.

The leaders of the Zionist enemy, starting from (the founding generation) down to (the new generation), passing through (the generation that built the entity), have played a prominent role in the establishment and composition of the fundamentalist, extremist and terrorist movements, groups, and organizations. The most prominent leaders of terrorism out of those were Menachem Begin (1913-1992, (who led the branch of the (Betar) Organization and when he arrived in Palestine in 1942 and in late 1943 he took over the leadership of the “Etzel” organization that was known by its famous massacres committed against the Palestinian civilians, and forcing them to leave Palestine.

One of the most prominent leaders of the Zionist terrorism, David Ben-Gurion (1886 – 1973) boasting his terrorist record in these organizations, said: “We were waiting for weapons to come, day and night, and we did not talk about anything but only about weapons. When we got the weapons, we were so happy, we were playing with them as children and we never left them. We used to read and speak and the rifles in our hands or on our shoulders”.

Historical sources indicate that the history of the Zionist terrorism begins with a willingness to settlement-oriented immigration, for the flows of the first immigration brought the Jewish form that rejected what the Zionists call the (Jewish rabbinate negativity), which believe that they have to forge their own future through confiscating the land of Palestine and expelling the owners to create a vital room for them to practice their national sovereignty.

The “Hashomer” organization was the vanguard of the organizations in that period; the “Haganah” is an extension of this organization. The clashes were at that time limited to the use of knives and sticks only.

However, near the end of World War I, the promise of the second phase began, where the Zionists started to collect arms to start then a new combat phase and a new phase of the phases of practicing the armed terrorism, although this did not reach to the extent of the direct confrontation, but was only limited to the hit-and-run style.

After World War I, and after putting Palestine under the British rule, the real history of the Zionist terrorism began.

Since the start of the British occupation of Palestine, the organizational structure of the Zionist terrorism started to grow and to entrench in Palestine, drawing on the support of the British colonization of the Zionist movement and securing migration of thousands of young Zionists who quickly engaged in terrorist organizations.

The organizational structure of the Zionist terrorism settled since the early twenties of the twentieth century, when the “Haganah” was founded representing the military and vigorous arm of the Jewish Agency in 1920, which included groups allocated for terrorist attacks, including the “Bush Brigades” that were formed in 1937, as well as the “Palmach” groups.

Also, in the second year of the outbreak of the major Palestinian revolution in 1936, the supporters of the corrective Zionism have left the “Haganah” and formed an organization that was having more extreme and bloody manifestation namely the Irgun gang (Irgun Tzvai-Leumi) “Etzel”. Later, the Avraham group left “Etzel” and formed in 1940 the “Lehi” organization.

These three organizations (Haganah, Etzel, and Lehi) were considered the backbone of the Zionist terrorism until 1948, where there was rarely found an act of terrorism that took place in Palestine and attributed to other group, as well as some of the terrorist Zionist circles were subject to their direct supervision.

Thus, the structure of the Zionist terrorism was established in the twenties and thirties of the last century and the second half of the thirties witnessed an obvious rise in relation to the size of the Zionist terrorist activity in Palestine. In fact, this rise should be discussed in the light of the global tide of fascism, and the flow of a generation of young Zionist people who became specialized in the terrorist underground work in the countries of Eastern Europe in particular.

British official memorandum issued by the “Ministry of State for the colonies” states that the Zionist terrorists come from Russia, Poland and the Balkans, and they have no tolerance and do not recognize the rights of others, but it was concluded that they are the product of educational systems that feed intolerance and chauvinism.

The obvious rise in the volume of the Zionist terrorist activity at that time is linked to the escalation of the Palestinian national movement in the face of the Zionist project, which had achieved enough accumulation in its tools and potentials that enable it to clash with the Palestinians and to begin to move in a hurry to achieve its aim and to establish the Zionist state.

Among the full record of the Zionist activity in Palestine during the next phase (up to World War II), we can refer to some important operations, including when the terrorists of the “Haganah” organization shot two Palestinians to death next to the usurped “Petah Tikva” when they were in their hut on April 16/1936.

During the same year, the “Haganah” issued seven decisions to open fire on the Palestinians wherever they are. Also in 1937, a series of throwing grenades at gatherings of unarmed Palestinian citizens took place in cafes, vehicles, and markets; the most famous was when the elements of the “Etzel” organization threw a bomb on the vegetable market adjacent to the gate of Nablus in Jerusalem and dozens of Palestinians were killed and/or wounded.

The members of the same organization opened fire on a Palestinian convoy killing three passengers, including two women, on November 14/ 1937; that day was named the “Black Sunday” in Jerusalem. The Zionist terrorists carried out more than one operation in the city as an aspect of showing their might.

On March 6/1937, 18 Palestinians were killed and 38 others were injured as a result of throwing a hand grenade in the Haifa market. In the same market on July of the same year a car bomb killed 350 Palestinians and wounded 70 others, while the Zionist historians boast that the number of victims was much more than what has been announced by the British military governing authorities.

Next day, 27 Palestinians were killed and 46 others were wounded due to a grenade dropped by the Zionist gangs on the busy market. In the market in Jerusalem on August 26/1938, the explosion of a car bomb killed 34 Palestinians and injured 35 others according to the lowest estimates.

Terrorists belonging to the “Etzel” organization blew a grenade in front of a mosque in the city of Jerusalem on July 15 /1938 when the worshipers were exiting, killing ten people and wounding thirty others.

The Zionists boast that the same year also witnessed the attack carried out by the terrorist “Shlomo Ben-Yosef” along with two of his comrades of the “Etzel” organization on Palestinian cars carrying unarmed citizens.

The British authorities sentenced “Shlomo” to death, and thus the Zionist usurpers considered him an ideal national hero and put his image on an Israeli postage stamp. Moreover, one of the secret Zionist terrorist organizations in the eighties gave the name of “Shlomo” to similar operations that took place in the West Bank.

Among the Zionist terrorist operations during the year 1939, on February 27 precisely, 27 Palestinians martyred and 39 others were wounded in Haifa after the “Etzel” organization threw two bombs. Also, three Palestinians were killed and a fourth one was wounded in “Tel Aviv”. Three others were killed and six were wounded in Jerusalem.

However, the most prominent terrorist operations in that year was the attack schemed by the “Etzel” organization on “Cinema Rex” in Jerusalem; where there were a multi-stage planning to achieve the greatest possible number of casualties through the explosives that have penetrated the building in addition to throwing bombs inside it and then opening fire on the moviegoers who came out in a state of panic. This terrorist attack has been carried out on 29/May 1939.

The “Haganah” was not far from competing with the “Etzel”; its elements attacked “Al-Sheikh town” next to the city of Haifa on July 12 / 1939 and kidnapped five people of its population and then killed them.

Additionally, on July 29 six Palestinian cars were attacked in the “Tel Aviv”, “Rehot”, and “Petah Tikva” revenues, where 11 Palestinians were killed. Throwing bombs in the city of Jaffa on August 26 killed 24 Palestinians and injured 35 others.

The Zionist Organizations took advantage of the years of World War (I and II) to develop their influence and to strengthen their structures and arming in preparation for their initiation at the end of the war, and thus they increased in number and equipment and have given their existence a measure of legitimacy by collaborating with Britain and the Allies. Thus, the organizations prepared themselves to start heading towards achieving two goals:

The first: Forcing the Palestinians, the country’s indigenous owners, to leave their lands, including those in which they make up the overwhelming majority, the land that was given to them later due to the division project.

The second: Pressuring the Britons to abolish the imposed restrictions, particularly regarding immigration and to work so that to establish a Zionist state by the most expeditious means.
