Hizbullah official: Anti-Iran sanctions not because of its nuclear program

Deputy of Hizbullah Director Shiekh Naeim Ghasem said escalation of pressures, sanctions and economic warfare against Iran is not because of its nuclear program.

Talking to IRNA, he cited the pivotal role of Iran in the region, its strength, independence and freedom as the main reason behind such pressures.

Ghasem stressed that the Zionist regime does not have the power to invade Iran, adding Israel is trying to push US into a confrontation with Iran.

He noted the Zionist Regime wanted Washington to enter in the war, and in practice, Israel’s war with Iran is conducted by the hans of the US.
