Homs City Council accelerates work to restore services

Governor of Homs Talal al-Barazi said the City Council should exert all possible efforts as to rehabilitate services to all neighborhoods, adding that the Council is planning for higher level of services and perspectives of reconstruction process.

The remarks came during the Council’s first meeting after security is restored to the city at the Arab Cultural Center on Sunday.

Head of the Council Nakhim Tayyara stressed the need for all citizens to participate in resorting life and rehabilitating services in the city.

For there part, the attendants highlighted the need to provide all services to locals of Homs old city and carry out rehabilitation works in accordance with a fixed timetable.
