Media source in Idlib disclosed that a senior commander of Jund al-Aqsa terrorists group has been killed in intense fighting with the rival Ahrar al-Sham militant group in Idlib province.

Ra’ad Eid, nom de guerre Abu Satif, who was the emir of Jund al-Aqsa was killed when the rival terrorists from the rival Ahrar al-Sham terrorist group attacked Jund al-Aqsa positions in Ariha region in Idlib province.

Two other terrorists of Jund al-Aqsa, including Abu Satif’s brother Abu Ebrahim, were also killed along with Abu Satif.

Abu Satif was the commander of Jund al-Aqsa’s military operations in the countryside of the city of Hama.

Eight other terrorists from both sides were also injured in the heavy infighting.

The clashes between Jund al-Aqsa and Ahrar al-Sham terrorists also spread to Jabal al-Zawiya region.

The fighting between the two terrorist groups intensified on Monday in Ariha region.

“The differences have increased among the Jund al-Aqsa and Ahrar al-Sham terrorist groups in Ariha region in Idlib province in the Northwestern part of Syria,” the Arabic-language media quoted an informed source as saying.

“The differences intensified between the two terrorist groups after a Jund al-Aqsa terrorist attacked the brother of the commander of Ahrar al-Sham’s Ariha Battalion,” the sources said.

Infighting has increased among rival terrorist groups in Idlib province after they have come under the Syrian army siege and lost vast parts of lands across Syria, specially in neighboring Aleppo, to the government forces.

In late August, a bomb-laden vehicle exploded near Faylaq al-Sham terrorist group’s military base on a road linking Sheikh Youssef village to Idlib city, inflicting heavy losses on them.

Several terrorists of Faylaq al-Sham were killed and many others were wounded in the explosion.

No further detail is yet available the explosion and the number of casualties.
