Imam Khamenei: Global Developments Show Iran Gaining the Upper Hand

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei said that regional and global developments unfold that the Islamic Republic of Iran has gained the upper hand.

“Iran’s significant success and progress in various fields account for the cry orchestrated by the country’s enemies,” said the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei in a meeting with a group of navy officials in Tehran on Tuesday on the occasion of National Navy Day.

“Given the West’s policies in the Middle East, it is quite obvious that Iran’s policies in that region are closer to its goals than those of the West,” the Supreme Leader added.

“One of the reasons behind creating commotion against the Islamic Republic is the successes which have been achieved,” he stated.

His eminence further stated that “Iran is more capable in attaining its noble goals,” adding that the country has successfully overcome all barriers with reliance on Almighty God, its endeavors, vigilance and high enthusiasm.

“If the government and officials have a strategic view on maritime areas and provide assistance, these vast and important areas can offer great potential for the Islamic Republic,” the leader concluded.
