IMF view of Iran economy positive: Minister

Minister of economy of the Islamic Republic of Iran described the International Monetary Fund’s report of Iran’s economic situation as positive.

According to IRIB, Ali Tayyebnia Iranian minister of economy, at the end of the visit by the IMF expertise delegation to Tehran, referred to the examinations of the delegation of Iran’s economy and its members’ visit with the economic experts of different organizations inside Iran saying, “This delegation has concluded in its examinations that the inflation rate has dropped significantly in Iran.”
Expressing that the International Monetary Fund has announced in its oral report that the grounds have been increased for confronting recession and developing Iran’s economy, Tayyebnia added, “This report can improve Iran’s position in the global arena.”
Pointing to the satisfaction of the IMF contingent at the existence of public trust and confidence and the establishment of stability in Iran’s economy, the Iranian minister of economy said, “The report of such international bodies are important because they are the reference for investors, big companies and banks that want to have deals with countries.”
