In Syria, US and Arab rulers bring about mess

922130_origWhat dreams had the Western countries and reactionary and dictatorial Arab governments for Syria! How optimistic had they expected unlikely dreams, given the promise of the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government in short time!
But in the past 22 months, supporters of terrorism and regime change in Syria have faced bitter realities.

All sorts of logistic, financial, military, cultural, media, and intelligence support were used by extremist Arab governments, Turkey, and Western countries and the Zionist regime at highest levels to introduce a new trend of regime change method and toppling of political systems not aligned with the West.

But after so many months, the result of this nervous struggle is turned out to be a disappointment and strategic failure in Syria. Not only have those who stressed military approaches for taking down Assad, reached a dead-end, but they now face a tragic phenomenon, the Syrian version of ‘Arab-Afghans,’ that threatens other countries’ security as well.

These armed forces engage in struggles among themselves, besides frequent defeats around Damascus, Aleppo, and the suburbs of Homs, Idlib, and Hamah. The reason is that these military and terrorist organizations have been founded on corrupt financial, rational, and tactical bases and the runaway FSA commanders who had shared US presents with al-Qaida terrorists; now provide answers to the west. Nor, they promise a guarantee for an unrealistic success in Syria.

In his address to the lawmakers, President Bashar al-Assad proved that not only does he hold initiative in military field, but he and the Syrian people define the political initiative and the end of the road map. The truth is that the phenomena of al-Qaida and terrorism in Syria cannot function as strongholds for the Westerners and the reactionary and dictatorial Arab states.

Hollow gadgets such as FSA are leaving the political and security stage in Syria, way sooner than expected by their founders. Therefore, Westerners have no way but to accept the harsh reality of the politics: They must either secretly admit the stigma of having supported the terrorists and back them or they must admit that what goes on in Syria is full-fledged political war between Syria and imported terrorists. They must register the defeat in their record sheets; of course, the second way is less costly, since outward support for the groups with utterly terrorist behavior holds huge moral taxes on the US.

Both ways will not bring honorable ends for the West and Arab dictator rulers and this is what Erdogan expressed before Turkish ambassadors, accepting that peace in Syria will prove costly.

Of course this is only the beginning, and tens of thousands of al-Qaida members, organized in Turkey, will add to the chasm between Turkey and the Kurds, Alavis, and Turkish opposing parties.

Although the Israelis invest much hope in chaos, insecurity, and instability and erosion of Syria’s military, security, and economic capabilities, they know that if they so enter the Syrian crisis, in a short time they must face the extremist groups and al-Qaida all around themselves, especially in Jordan and Sinai Peninsula.

Crisis built in Syria would only be stopped with dwindling sources of support for the terrorists and conceding defeat in the project and drinking the cup of hemlock by the terrorist supporters. The national dialogue and mutual agreement of the Syrian nation and state without foreign intervention will finally be rational and acceptable, since otherwise the costs of support for terrorism and military intervention in Syria would be more than the Western countries and Arab rulers might imagine.
