In Video: First seen footage of liberated Army bases in southern Aleppo

Huge devastation hit the recently-liberated Army bases in southern Aleppo following the fierce battles fought between the Syrian Army and jihadi groups over the past few weeks for the control of this strategic area.

Government forces, backed by Russian airstrikes and allied forces, managed to recapture the bases which was taken over by hardline militants back on August 7^th.

With the recent gains, which proved costly for both sides, the rebel-held districts in the city’s east have once again come under a stifling blockade by the Syrian forces.

Dubbed the ‘Mother of all Battles’, the battle for Aleppo hasn’t come to an end yet with the jihadi fighters regrouping for a counteroffensive.
