Indian Delegation Expresses Support to Syria in Face of Terrorism

Representatives of Indian Islamic activities condemned the terrorist acts launched by terrorists in Syria.

The delegation, during a meeting with Syrian Ambassador to India, Riyad Abbas, condemned the crime of assassinating scholar Mohammad Said Ramadan al-Bouti and a number of students in Damascus-based al-Iman Mosque.

They expressed sorrow over the martyrdom of al-Bouti, stressing their support to Syria in the face of the western and Gulf-backed mercenary extremists.

The delegation briefed Abbas on their desire to hold an international conference for fraternity and tolerance with the aim of raising awareness of the dangers of the armed terrorist groups who use religion as a cover to their criminal acts, distorting the image of Moslems all over the world.
