Extremist Buddhists in Myanmar set 2 houses on fire and injured 3 Rohingya Muslims in an attack to a Muslim neighborhood.
Myanmar’s extremist Buddhists once again attacked the Muslim minority of the country and burned down a couple of houses, Russia Today reported.

The attack left 3 Rohingya Muslims injured.

Over the past year at least 237 were killed and 150 others injured in sectarian and religious violence in Myanmar.

This is while last Thursday the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees announced that in the wake of Myanmar security forces’ attack on a Rohingya Muslims camp in Rakhine State, in the west of the country, two refugees were killed and 6 others wounded.

According to the organization’s report, the security forces’ attack on the Muslim camp last Thursday happened when the forces opened fire on Muslims in an attempt to settle a dispute in the camp.

Critics believe the government of Myanmar has acted negligently in prosecuting perpetrators of the violence and fighting against developing anti-Islam movements in the country.
