Inhuman zionists rounds up 7 Palestinians, extend detention of 8 others including minors

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up seven Palestinians in various West Bank areas at dawn Wednesday and extended the detention of 8 Jerusalemites including two minors.

Local sources in Deir Nizam village, west of Ramallah, said that IOF soldiers burst into the village at dawn and rounded up four young men 17 to 22 years old.

They said that the soldiers blasted their way into the houses and searched them before taking away the four young men handcuffed.

Two other Palestinians were arrested in downtown Al-Khalil, local sources said, adding that settlers assaulted one of them.

The sources said that the first, Mahmoud Idris, was taken from Shuhada street while the other, Ala’a Abu Turki was taken from his home after searching it and blasting its main door.

A seventh Palestinian was detained in Kufr Ra’ee village, south of Jenin, local sources said, adding that the soldiers broke into the home of Mohammed Jawabra’s family and took him away after ransacking the house.

In a related context, the central and magistrate courts in Jerusalem on Tuesday extended the detention of eight Jerusalemites including two minors and released seven others on bail.

One of the minors was only 13 years old and the other 15 years old, their father said, adding that both Othman, 13, and Obaida, 15, were beaten during their interrogation in Maskobeh detention center.
