IOF detain 3 journalists at Al-Aqsa entrance

Israeli forces detained, last night, three Palestinian journalists while leaving Al Aqsa Mosque and took them to a police station near “Al Buraq” Wall in Jerusalem.

Sources told our correspondent that the Israeli soldiers detained Farid Saleh, Walid Sababa and Raed Khoury; charged them with the photos taking inside the Aqsa Mosque.

The occupation forces consider photography in Al-Aqsa Mosque violation of the law as it is closed to the media, and it is required to obtain permission or approval from the police, who consider themselves the actual sovereign there.

The sources pointed out that the imaging equipment had been seized, and they faced an investigation on the material especially the pictures of the banner attached to the mosque and contain pictures of Sheikh Raed Salah, and a former minister; and ask them who hung the banner.

The banner which was hanged last Friday prayer at Al Aqsa Mosque, contained photos for Sheikh Raed Salah, head of the Islamic Movement, Jerusalem representatives and former minister Khaled Abu Arafa.

The banner reminds worshipers of the Palestinian in the prisoners of the occupation, and their right to pray at the occupied mosque.
