Iran’s volleyball team becomes Asia’s champion

Iran’s National Volleyball Team for the first time became champion of the Asian games after defeating China’s National Team on Thursday.

Iranian volleyball players defeated China’s team 3 to 1 in Tehran’s Azadi Sports Complex on Thursday evening.

Iran’s National Volleyball Team will take part in World Championship Games slated for December in Japan.

South Korea’s National Volleyball Team also became third after defeating Australia’s National Volleyball Team.

Japan which was Asia’s former champion became fifth in this round of competitions.
