Iran and Egypt stress solving Syrian crisis through talks

Head of Iranian Interests Office in Egypt informed of continuation of talks between Iranian and Egyptian officials to solve Syrian crisis.

According to IRNA, Mojtaba Amani Head of Iranian Interests Office in Egypt announced that Tehran and Cairo talk always about Syria.
The Iranian official gave these statements on the sidelines of the meeting of the high-ranking officials of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Cairo in response to the question about the likely determination of a timetable for holding a tri-partite summit among Egyptian, Iranian and Turkish officials.
Amani added, “So far no date has been set for holding the tri-partite summit but consultations are being continued to reach a solution for the Syrian crisis within the framework of the Egyptian president’s initiative.”
Head of Iran’s Interests Office in Egypt also said that Iranian president will have bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the OIC summit in Cairo.
The Iranian president is due to arrive in Cairo on Tuesday, February 5.
