Al-Qassam: Israel’s claim of Rafah tunnel discovery falsity

Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas Movement, said that the Israeli announcement of finding out a tunnel for al-Qassam in Rafah is a new attempt to mislead the public.

The spokesman of al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaidah, said in a statement over Twitter at noon Sunday that the tunnel referred to by Israeli media is an old unused one. It was previously targeted after the brigades used it to explode al-Ahmar watchtower east of Rafah city after Israeli aggression on Gaza in 2014.

Earlier on Sunday morning, Israeli army announced the destruction of a tunnel east of Rafah “before reaching the borders”.
