Iran’s Oil Minister Rostam Qasemi says that Iran is trying to find new customers for Iranian oil in order to make the sales continue.
According to FNA, Qasemi pointed to the establishment of anti-anti-sanction lobbies in some European and American embassies in countries buying Iranian oil and said: “In such circumstances our counteraction was to form a special workgroup in the oil ministry and find new customers so that the country’s sales are not stopped, in which we were successful.”
He said since there is no substitute for the Iranian oil in the world, the long-age costumers of the Iranian oil could not reduce their import to zero, enabling Iran to keep its oil costumers to some point.
The Iranian minister stated that after the sanctions failure to stop Iran’s oil industry, the imposer of the sanctions put forth hindrances regarding the issuance of Iranian oil tankers, in contrary to international norms; however, the domestic insurance companies came up with due help and we managed to control the issues and continue to export oil as usual.
