Iran dispatches humanitarian aid to CAR

Iran’s Red Crescent Society has sent first humanitarian aid package to CAR through a charter flight.

With the violence outbreak in South African Republic, which had rendered thousands of Muslims homeless and at the risk of extremists’ violence, Iran’s Red Crescent dispatched a 40-ton humanitarian aid to Chad to be delivered to CAR.

The aid consists of tents, blankets, and food items. It will be distributed among the refugee camp in Chad Republic.

Massive killing of Muslims by local Christian extremists and the lack of resources for delivering aid to CAR citizens by international organizations, the UN and other international aid institutions have voiced concerns over food crisis and genocide of Muslims in SAR.
