Iran EC Secretary: Time Ripe for Fueling Fight against US

Secretary of Expediency Council Mohsen Rezayee said that the conditions are fit to fuel the anti-US fight, adding that Iran intends to start the American decline.

“We want to initiate the decline of United States from our streets,” Rezayee said.

Regarding the current international and domestic conditions, the fight against the United States is going to intensify, he noted, adding that it is time to remove American approaches and thoughts from our culture and economy just as we expelled American advisers from our country.

He expressed hope that by relying on the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei’s guidelines, Iran would block the penetration of American culture, liberal economy, and thoughts.

In relevant remarks in June, Mohsen Rezayee praised Iran’s courage and prudence in sending fuel tankers to Venezuela despite the US threats.

Sending fuel to Venezuela is a symbol of change, Rezayee, now the Secretary of Iran’s Expediency Council (EC), said on June 11.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has decided to send fuel tankers to one of its friends, Venezuela, which is under the most severe sanctions, he added.

When Iran sent the ships to Venezuela, some said, “don’t go, there will be a war”, Rezayee said, adding that of course, they had also threatened but Iran decided to send fuel tankers to Venezuela despite the threats.

Islamic Republic of Iran enjoys both prudence and courage, he stressed.
