Iran, Egypt negotiation in Muslims favor

“Head of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought gives a warm welcome to Sheikh Al Azhar and we hope that we visit him so soon,” ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri said.
He pointed to the invitation of Iran Parliament speaker, Ali Larijani from Sheikh Al Azhar, Ahmad Tayyeb to visit Tehran and said,” the World Forum have invited him many times in the past and visiting such prominent figure in the realm of unity is so good,” reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The grand Ayatollah mentioned,” Sheikh Al Azhar played a key role in unifying Muslims.”

The grand ayatollah highlighted the effect of Iran and Egypt relations on the issue of Islamic proximity as underlined,” Egypt is an important country in the Islamic world and without a doubt negotiation between Iran and Egypt will be in favor of Muslim Ummah.”

The senior cleric pointed to the recent uprisings in the region and said ” Muslims are more aware than before and do not let the tyrannical governments manipulate them and deprive them from their own rights.”

An Iranian delegation has recently visited prominent Egyptian mufti Dr. Sheikh Al Azhar, preparing the grounds for the development of Tehran-Cairo religious and cultural ties which severed three decades ago under former Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak.
