Iran executes MEK-linked terrorist

Iran executes MEK-linked terroristIran’s judiciary has executed a member of MEK terrorist group in Tehran Sunday morning.

Gholamreza Khosravi Savadjani who was convicted on sabotage charges in line with Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization (abbreviated as MEK) was executed today, Sunday morning in Tehran.

The convict had been already arrested and served 1981 to 1986 his term on charges of supporting the MEK and was arrested again in 2007. Officials seized from him a lot of documents of strategic centers in the country including military centers and it was found that he had given the documents to the terrorist MEK center and affiliated media outlets.

He also sent financial aids to the MEK and had tried to recruit some Iranians for this organization.

The prosecuting heard his case and after much deliberation, convicted him.

The MEK had made a lot of efforts in early years of the Revolution in Iran and had killed many innocent people around the country.
