Iran First VP confers with senior foreign officials in Bolivia

The Islamic Republic of Iran’s First Vice-President, Isshaq Jahangiri, separately met and conferred with the Venezuelan, Bolivian, Uruguayan, and Cuban presidents on the sidelines of the G77 Summit in the Bolivian city of Santa Cruz, on Sunday.

According to IRIB World Service, throughout these meetings, the two parties discussed the topics of mutual interest.

Meanwhile, prior to the said meetings, Iran’s first vice-president had also conferred with the Zimbabwean president, Bolivian Senate speaker, UN chief and Chilean foreign minister.

Iranian first vice-president was the first official who delivered a speech in these meetings after the official welcome of the Bolivian President, Evo Morales, who hosts this summit.

G77 Summit meetings are chaired by China, while the Islamic Republic of Iran chairs the Non-Aligned Movement.
