Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi says negotiations between Iran and the six major world powers over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear energy program are moving forward.

After a meeting with his Kazakh counterpart Yerlan Idrisov, Salehi told reporters in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe, “The first round of talks in Almaty produced positive results. We hope the next round of negotiations in Almaty will continue the same forward trend”.
Iran and the P5+1 — China, Russia, France, Britain and the US plus Germany — held talks in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on February 26-27. The two sides agreed to meet in Almaty again on April 5-6 for the next round of negotiations after “expert-level” talks in the Turkish city of Istanbul on March 17-18.
