Iran praises Palestinian resistance against Israel

Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili praised the resistance of the Palestinian people against what he called the “Zionist power club.”

“Gaza conveys a message that a nation can resist against the Zionist power club. The nation will not let them [the occupiers] to turn seizure into occupation,” Jalili said on Saturday.

He added that the three-week-long Israeli war on the Gaza Strip has proven that “the global arrogance” can be defeated by a nation that is not well-equipped.

“Gaza, without having sufficient equipment, has brought the Zionists (Israelis) — with their [military] hardware power — to their knees,” the SNSC secretary said.

He added that Israel’s December 2008-January 2009 war on Gaza showed that “the Palestinian resistance power now operates even in the soft warfare mode.

He underlined that the enemies of the resistance are now busy implementing a soft war but added that “they will lose beyond any doubt.”
