Iran prioritizes cooperation with independent Latin America states

Chairman of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi said on Tuesday that Iran gives priority to promoting cooperation with independent countries in Latin America.

In a meeting with the Chairman of the Bolivian Parliament Foreign Policy Commission Galo Silvestre Bonifas, he welcomed the Bolivian delegation’s visit to Tehran.

The two countries’ parliaments serve as backbones for promoting ties between the two countries, he said.

Iran’s Majlis will support developing bilateral ties, he said, noting that regular consultations between the two sides are necessary.

Bonifas, for his part, said that his visit is aimed at promoting parliamentary ties and exchanging views.

Underlining the solidarity between the Bolivian nation and government against the world powers propaganda and pressures, he noted that his country will continue to support Iran’s stance in the international circles.
