Iran ranks 7 in Int’l Mathematic Competitions

Iran’s Sharif University of Technology ranked 7 in the 19th International Mathematic Competitions for University Students.

The team supervised by Mohammad Gholamzade Mahmoudi left Bulgaria with three golds, two silvers and a bronze.

The competition held from July 26 to August 1 was comprised of 2 five-hour sessions with problems in the fields of Algebra, Analysis (Real and Complex), Geometry and Combinatorics. About 45 countries participated in the competitions.
