Iran Resisting Economic War Unitedly: IRGC Commander

Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said the Islamic Republic is in an economic war with the enemy, noting that the Iranian nation is unitedly resisting this war.

In a speech on Tuesday morning, Major General Jafari pointed to Washington’s sanctions on Tehran and said, “We are in an economic war with the enemy.”

“If we rely on our own resources and indigenous Iranian and Islamic methods, we can resolve the problems much better than the present situation,” the commander said.

In the 40th year after the victory of the Islamic Revolution and despite all these hostilities and attempts by the enemies to create problems for the country, Iran is resisting the problems unitedly, he stressed.

“All enemy resources have been mobilized to distort (the truth about) the Islamic Republic’s positive measures…,” Major General Jafari stated.
