Iran Responds to New P5+1 Offer

Kazakhstan’s Deputy Foreign Minister announced readiness to host new the round of P5+1 talks with Iran and said Iran considers the offer as positive.
Kairat Sarybay the Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan announced that Iran has welcomed the proposal to hold the new round of nuclear talks with P5+1 in Kazakhstan.

“Kazakhstan is ready to offer logistic services in the future and if necessary, will contribute to negotiation process between Iran and P5+1 on the nuclear issue,” said Kairat Sarybay.

The Kazakh Deputy Foreign Minister pointed out that the Iranian officials have welcomed the initiative and added: “We expect that after the new government of the Islamic Republic of Iran is established, P5+1 will decide the location for the next talks.”

In a meeting with Hassan Rouhani at his inauguration ceremony, Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Kazakh President expressed readiness to host the new round of negotiations.

P5+1 comprises of 5 permanent members of the UN Council of Security ( the U.S., Russia, China, France and Britian) as well as Germany and the last round of talks between Iran and P5+1 was held in Almaty, the capital city of Kazakhstan on April 5th and 6th this year.
