Iran stays with Syrian people, government

A group of Syrian political and social activists have met with the Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, on Sunday in Tehran.
Syrian activists attending the meeting expressed gratitude for the Islamic Republic of Iran’s support to Syrian government and people emphasizing that Syria has faced a huge war forced by all superpowers from all around the world to beat the axis of resistance in the region.

These activists believe the Islamic Republic of Iran is the light and true path of Islam and also it is the companion of the oppressed nations.

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs also expressed hope for the Syrian changes adding that Syria has passed the hardest conditions ever through the last years.

Amir-Abdollahian asserted that “the Syrian enemies have already been defeated and the Geneva II conference proves it.”

Reminding Takfiris’s crimes in Syria he mentioned “huge killings of Syrian people happened by Takfiris so far while being backed by the foreigners; the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the other side, will stay beside the Syrian people and government.” Added he.
