Iran stresses real changes in US system

Lieutenant Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Brigadier General Hossein Salami said the US officials put forth sweet claims which are totally contrary to their deeds.

According to IRIB, asked about nomination of Chuck Hagel to hold the post as US Defense Secretary, he said on Monday that the US officials may take different personalities or pretend to be so, but they all act within the framework of imperialism and all belong to the system of arrogance.
General Salami said the US is built on a system of thoughts, values and policies that cannot be changed through a series of changes in appearance.
The Iranian commander further reminded the slogan of ‘change’ hyped on by US President Barack Obama and said the Islamic Republic has already lost confidence with the US officials and this can be changed only when they come up with real changes.
