Iranian Parliament’s General Director for International Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian welcomed any measure for solving the Syrian crisis.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks in his meeting with Hussein Ragheb al-Hussein, a member of the Syrian People Assembly and Deputy Head of the Syrian National Dialogue Forum, on Wednesday in Tehran.

The Iranian diplomat referred to the background of historical ties between the two nations of Iran and Syria and highlighted that the two countries enjoy a lot of cultural and religious commonalities which act as a firm ground for developing bilateral ties in political and historical areas.

“The international community has done nothing positive to prevent crimes of the terrorists in Syria,” said Amir-Abdollahian criticizing the ‘wrong policies’ of the US in Syria and lamenting the worsening of the situation in Syrian towns of Al-Fu’ah and Kafarya, which are under siege by terrorists, “the fake measures of the anti-terror coalition have strengthened the terrorist militias.”

Stressing on political way as the only solution to end the crisis in Syria, he maintained that the Islamic Republic of Iran backs any measure which is to solve the problem through political way.

“The government and the nation of Syria will never forget the all-out supports of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” said the Syrian MP for his part.

Hussein Ragheb al-Hussein voiced his deep concern over deteriorating situation and the killing of innocent women, children, and civilians in an area without electricity, medicine, and drinkable water.

“Despite their fake propaganda, the international organizations have done no humanitarian measure to help the people of these areas against the crimes committed by the terrorists,” lamented the visiting Syrian official, “the Syrian government will file against the organized genocide of the people of Al-Fu’ah and Kafarya by terrorists and their regional allies.”

He severely criticized the UN and other international entities who have turned blind eye to the crimes in the towns of Al-Fu’ah and Kafarya.
