Iran to Build Pharmaceutical Factory, Hospital in Oman

Omani Health Minister Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Obeid al-Saeedi announced cooperation with Iran in building a pharmaceutical productions plant and a hospital in Oman.

“Construction of a joint pharmacy plant and a hospital in Oman are among common programs between us,” Saeedi told reporters in Tehran on Wednesday.

He underlined that Iran’s progress in all fields are noticeable and different from negative image of certain media, and called the production of 96 percent of needed medicine in Iran as a big step.

Saeedi said relations between the two countries are very strong, and added that in many fields “we can use each othersˈ experiences and abilities”.

Iranian officials have repeatedly underlined that they attach great importance to the consolidation of Tehran’s relations with the Middle-East countries, specially with the Persian Gulf littoral states, in order to protect and promote peace and security in the region.
