Iran to build special schools for training nuclear experts

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi, announced on Tuesday that Iran plans to construct special schools to teach nuclear science and technology to the students.

Addressing an inaugural ceremony marking the start of construction of a nuclear high school in the city of Mashhad, northeastern Iran, on Tuesday, Salehi said “Building specialized nuclear schools across Iran are among the organization’s plans.”

He pointed to the nuclear high school in Mashhad, and said, “The country’s second nuclear energy school will be constructed in Mashhad and a memorandum of understanding has also been signed among the the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Khorassan Razavi governor general’s office and Khorassan Education Department in this regard.”

In July, Salehi said that Iran would construct a special hospital to treat patients who need nuclear medicine.
