Iran to Hold 9th Ceramic Congress in May

Iran Ceramic Society is scheduled to hold the 9th Iranian Ceramic Congress in Iran University of Science and Technology in May 2013.

The Congress has been organized to boost scientific, research, and industrial links between Iranian universities and industries and to benefit from the latest achievements of the researchers in the ceramic industry.

Helping the development of industries and companies active in various industrial and scientific fields and helping the development of knowledge-based companies, making connection and improving textile, glass, and glaze industries are among the objectives of the congress.

Among the nanotechnology-related scopes that will be discussed in the 9th Iranian Ceramic Congress, mention can be made of ‘Nanoceramics and Nanotechnology’. Advanced engineered ceramics, glass and glass-ceramic, glaze and porcelain, ceramic production process, ceramic and composite coatings, ceramic strategy, energy and environment, and standard are among other issues that will be reviewed in the congress.

Parallel to the congress, an exhibition will be held to display the latest research and industrial achievements in various fields such as raw materials, ceramic equipment, and products.
