Iran to launch Kavoshgar 7 next week

An informed official has said Kavoshgar 7 will be launched from Imam Khomeini space base.

Mher News quoted Brig. Gen. Mahdi Farahi, the head of aerospace technology office of president’s science deputy speaking to the press in the sidelines of International Conference on Technology Management.

“Kavoshgar 7 (explorer) will be launched next week from Imam Khomeini space base in Semnan,” he added.

“Launching the explorer is in line with sending living creature into space. So far, 6 explorers have been launched to space to complement the research on sending living creature,” he said.

“Kavoshgar 7 will be launched to 120Km altitude, and we hope to attain technology to sent man to space,” Farahi asserted.
