Iran Urges Regional States to Keep Distant from Divisive Plots

A1132974 The regional states should be watchful of the divisive plots hatched by the Zionist regime of Israel to stir sectarian and ethnic strife in the Middle-East, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehman-Parast said after some recent reports disclosed that several regional countries, including Turkey, have been pursuing a scheme to disintegrate Iraq into three autonomous states.

Asked to comment on some recent reports that Turkish Prime Minister is pursuing a plot to disintegrate Iraq, Mehman-Parast said, “Great plots are being designed and staged to spark differences among the regional states or stir tension in different regional states and these schemes can be practiced through sectarian or ethnic differences or aim to harm the territorial integrity of states and creating problems in their ruling systems.”

“We seriously recommend the regional countries to keep vigilant against these plots as getting involved in these plots will be harmful to those countries that stop onto these scenes,” he warned.

He blamed the Zionist regime of Israel for divisive plots in the region, and said, “The Zionist regime and its supporters are deeply concerned about the future of the Middle-East and for that reason they devise plots and we should be watchful of these plots.”

The remarks by Mehman-Parast came as a prominent Iraqi strategy analyst warned on Monday that Qatar, Turkey and Israel are exercising a plot to disintegrate Iraq.

“Qatar, Turkey and Israel are spearheading and leading a plot to disintegrate Iraq,” Ahmad al-Sharifi told FNA.

He said that targeting the political trend in Iraq is actually a part of the broader plot against the region which is known as the Greater Middle-East plan and aimed to pressure the countries which are in the resistance front against Israel and the US.
