Iran will show strong reaction to settlement of terrorist MKO in neighboring states

Iran will show strong reaction if other neighboring countries allow settlement to members of terrorist Mojahedin Khalq Organization on their soil.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast told reporters in his weekly briefing that Iran expects the neighboring states to consider Iran ‘s sensitivity and not take an action damaging their good relations with Iran.

Responding to a question about probable settlement of terrorist MKO members in Azerbaijan Republic, he said that the Islamic Republic of Iran will show strong reaction to such a move.

“Our stance about the MKO is clear. The MKO has perpetrated 16,000 terrorist assassinations in Iran and committed war crimes against Iraqi people under Saddam Hussein.”

He said that Iran will thwart possible US-Zionist scheme to give settlement to members of terrorist MKO in any of the regional states.
