Iran witnessing two-digit economic growth rate after 26 yrs: CBI chief

Governor of Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Valiollah Seif said on Wednesday that Iran is witnessing double-digit economic growth rate and single-digit inflation rate after 26 years.

Speaking to reporters, Seif said that the country’s economic growth rate is projected to remain above 11% by the end of the year.

Reining in soaring inflation and improving economic growth rate has been top on the agenda of President Hassan Rouhani since he took office in August 2013.
