Iranian Diplomat: Syrian people, winner of fight against terrorists

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-Africa Affairs, Hossein Amir Abdullahian, said on Thursday that the devastating war in Syria with terrorist groups has been prolonged but the people will be the real winner of this conflict.

Abdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with Syrian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Bashar Al Jafari on Thursday.
According to IRNA, he said that defending the legitimate rights of the Syrian people and their resistance against Zionist occupiers in international organizations should be considered as a great diplomatic achievement.
The Syrian envoy, for his part explained the achievements of UN fact finding committee on chemical weapons.
He also lauded Iran for defending the legitimate rights of the Syrian people in the international and regional organizations.
