Iranian ethnic, religious groups proud to be Iranian: Sunni cleric

Chabahar city Sunni Friday Prayers leader said that all Iranian ethnic and religious groups are proud of being Iranian.

Molawi Abdulrahman Mollazehi Sarbazi, who was speaking on the occasion of Prophet Mohammad Birthday and beginning of ˈUnity Weekˈ said that different Iranian ethnic groups with their sensitivities on ceremonies and customs consider progress and development of their country as a duty.

He said that people of the region either Shia or Sunni Muslims defend their borders and territory and guard their soil and water.

The Sunni scholar felicitated beginning of Unity Week and birthday of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
