Iranian Intelligence Minister: Enemies unable to disrupt Iraqi unity

Iranian Intelligence Minister Seyyed Mahmoud Alawi underlined that the enemies of the Iraqi nation cannot disrupt the Arab countryˈs unity through their hue and cry policies.

ˈThe enemies of Iraqi people cannot disunite the Arab nation and expose the country to disintegration,ˈ Alawi told reporters on Friday night.

He reiterated that the Iraqi nation is a vivid and vigilant nation who has always defended its dignity.

The Iranian intelligence minister recalled that when the British government tried to impose its will on the Iraqi nation the people of that country defended their independence and today they are present in the scene and they are defending their independence.

ˈThe Islamic Republic of Iran as a friend and brother country of Iraq cannot be indifferent towards this countryˈs problems, but we have interfered and we will not interfere in Iraqˈs internal affairs while providing spiritual and political support for independence and dignity in Iraq,ˈ Alawi said.
